At Pauntley School, home and school work together to benefit each individual child. As stated by one parent, "Pauntley School is a very happy place. Its small size fosters a true family atmosphere where everyone (children, parents, and teachers) knows each other well and works together as a team to support the school and its students."
Small multi-age classes feature individually-based work and achievement standards, tailored to the specific child. Teachers are responsible for the student for three to four years, which means that individual learning styles and needs become quite familiar.
A high level of support for teachers exists, including a teacher's assistant for each class. The small classes ensure close attention to each child's personal and educational needs.
Enrichment programmes such as music and PE are provided by specialist teachers. In addition, Pauntley School offers the
prestigious International Baccalaureate Curriculum, which focuses on the whole child in the context of the wider world and aims to develop the citizens of the future.
