Pauntley Church of England Primary School is a small, thriving and vibrant school set in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.
The use of positive discipline and the caring attitude of the staff, create an atmosphere that encourages the children to enjoy learning and playing together.
As a Candidate School permitted to deliver the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, the school uses a holistic curriculum of teaching through inquiry, which focuses on the total growth of the developing child.
The school recently participated in the COMENIUS project where Teachers, Governors and Parents from small schools throughout Europe, met every six months to exchange and discuss their different methods of teaching.
The school has links with other local small schools and Newent Community School provides facilities for the children to use. Pauntley school also has links to schools in Europe and South Africa.
